A loss prevention program for Physicians and Clinic Managers, Hospital Administrators and Risk Managers, and Other Health Care Professionals.
Providing quality patient care in an effective and efficient manner is, and always has been, the goal of good medicine. In today’s interdisciplinary approach to medicine, this can be a real challenge as health care treatment and health care regulations become more and more intermingled and complex. Coordination of care between primary care, specialties, and facilities; notification of critical tests and follow up; and even the impact of health care reform can challenge the best treatment plan.
In this program, KaMMCO will address issues arising from coordination of care, transition of patients from one health care professional or setting to another, and managing and communicating critical test results. Practical strategies will be offered to improve patient hand-offs, coordination of care, and communication.
