KaMMCO’s interest in both healthcare education and supporting the relationship between physician and patient has led to the development of an exciting new radio program called Healthy Sundays: It’s All About Your Health.
This radio show airs every Sunday from 9:30 to 10:00 AM on Country Legends 106.9FM. The radio station is based in Topeka and reaches the surrounding 21 counties, including the communities of Holton, Seneca, Manhattan, Council Grove, Emporia, Lawrence, and the Kansas City area.
It is KaMMCO’s hope that this program will serve to bring physicians and their patients closer together through education and support. Each show focuses on a current, relevant medical topic or healthcare issue including heart disease, diabetes, cold and flu season, depression, asthma, weight loss, digestive disorders, and much more. Shows are pre-recorded and do not involve taking live calls, however, listeners have the opportunity to provide feedback, ask questions, or suggest topics for future shows through the station’s website, www.countrylegends1069.com.
