Meeting to Discuss QDC Capabilities

Earlier this month, Jason Friesen, President of Health Data Solutions, Inc. and creator of QDC, spoke to around 40 participants at a KAMMCO-sponsored breakfast ahead of the Kansas Association of Risk and Quality Management (KARQM) meeting in Lindsborg.

Jason reviewed the QDC platform, highlighting how it benefits facilities by providing risk management professionals with the tools to meaningfully collect and analyze data to lower a facility’s risk, prevent loss, and improve patient outcomes.

Some topics highlighted in Jason’s Talk include:

• QDC Reports. QDC has reports crafted especially for risk managers, including risk management logs, report cards, trending graphs, and the KDHE Survey Log. This makes it easy to trend, identify problems, and monitor the impact of quality improvement.

• QDC Virtual Forum. Forum participants can ask questions of one another, beginning conversations on topics such as sample policies and procedures, state, Joint Commission, and federal regulations, and advice on credentialing, documentation, and peer review.

• Kansas Healthcare Facility Risk Management Plan. Using QDC helps facilities meet the state’s risk management plan requirements.
