KAMMCO invites our members to save the date for the 2021 Fall Loss Prevention program, “Telemedicine: Navigating the Ever-Changing Landscape,”presented by KAMMCO’s risk management team, Connie Christian, MBA, CPHRM, and Yolanda Sims, JD, MHA.

“I am excited to announce our panel of experienced risk managers will provide health care providers with current guidelines specific to telemedicine and suggested practices for care delivery,” stated Shannon Haire, KAMMCO Vice President of Member Services. “Telemedicine has seen a boom since the start of the pandemic. It’s more important than ever for providers to understand best practices surrounding the use of telemedicine with their patients, as well as the potential risks.”

KAMMCO’s risk management team will present case examples illustrating claims trends, including potential criminal concerns on the federal and state level. Members will learn about the risks of providing telemedicine services and how they can implement preventative actions.

Continuing education (CE) and a 5% policy premium credit are available for eligible members who either attend a Loss Prevention live webinar OR who complete the Loss Prevention online Med-IQ course by September 30, 2021, at 11:59 P.M.
