KAMMCO’s annual Loss Prevention Program is already underway. Members have two more opportunities to participate in the Loss Prevention webinar:

• Tues. Aug. 31 at 6 p.m.
• Thurs. Sept. 2 at 12 p.m.

If members aren’t available to attend the webinar, they may take the Loss Prevention course on Med-IQ by the end of the day on September 30, 2021.

This year’s program is entitled “Telemedicine: Navigating the Ever-Changing Landscape.” It’s presented by KAMMCO’s risk management advisors, Connie Christian, MBA, CPHRM, and Yolanda Sims, JD, MHA. They developed this presentation to give those in the healthcare field an understanding of the emerging trends in telehealth. This presentation will present learners with an awareness and understanding of current telemedicine service requirements, tools to mitigate potential adverse patient outcomes, and strategies to limit their liability. This presentation includes real-life case examples and provides resources to keep participants informed of the changes in telemedicine as it continues to evolve.
