About Advocacy Day 2024

The Kansas Medical Society’s 2024 Advocacy Day and Physician Day at the Statehouse offers a unique opportunity to join with physicians from all specialties across the state to directly participate in the legislative process and personally meet state lawmakers. Attendees should plan to meet with their specialty society, KMS leadership, and peers to inform lawmakers, guide decision-making, and generate support for policies on critical issues that impact physicians, patients, and the state’s healthcare environment.

Advocacy Day 2024 will include breakfast, legislative briefing, discussion with policymakers, and specialty society meetings. Lunch will be held at the Capitol for Physician Day at the Statehouse, with the opportunity to meet personally with legislators.
